She was an active member of Utopia Baptist Church and held various roles there and in the PTO, Arts and Crafts Club, and other organizations. She worked for many years at the Utopia School cafeteria and the General Store. The family said she loved to cook, sew, do crafts, crochet, and paint, and taught these hobbies to her children and grandchildren. She graduated from La Porte High School where she was nominated homemaker of the year. She married Johnny Webb in La Porte on Dec. She was born on May 10, 1944, to Jesse Mae (Green) and Daniel Dever in Morgan’s Point. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m., a funeral service will begin at 2 p.m., and interment will follow at Jones Cemetery. Services are set April 14 at Utopia Baptist Church. Nancy Ellen Webb, 78, of Utopia died on April 6, 2023, at Peterson Regional Hospital in Kerrville.
